The main reason for this disappearance was given by security issues. In fact, from that moment, in Windows 8 and Windows 10 these are no longer available, neither natively, nor optionally. And is that although these gadgets were still available, they were no longer by default. This is something that continued with the successful Windows 7, but with a slight change from Vista. In fact, thanks to these small software elements that we discussed, we directly had simple games, a photo viewer, or other utilities. In this way, at all times we had at our disposal useful data regarding the weather information, the time of the whole world, the calendar, the stock market, etc.
